Secret Bonus Areas (SBAs) are optional areas, where you can search for a secret entrance hidden in each of the main story line areas. Every SBA there has a field and a puzzle, which awards you with Gold, Gems, Trinkets, customization items, and decorations for your ranch house, and other fun things.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The SBA's on this page are listed according to the numbers the developers assigned to them.  However, the Ice Lake Secret Bonus Area (Island Region 2) is unnumbered because it was added long after the game had progressed beyond that area, and the developers did not want to cause confusion. 

But rest assured, the unnumbered SBA will be counted when you complete it, and the correct number will appear in your achievements.
